By accessing and using HappyLinks.io ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HappyLinks.io is a WordPress linking platform powered by AI. The Service helps website owners scan their sites, review internal-link opportunities, connect Search Console data, and build semantic keyword maps. Backlink features may be offered later and will remain subject to approval and control from all parties involved.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Engage in link manipulation or artificially inflate metrics
• Submit links for sites you do not own or have explicit permission to represent
• Circumvent the Service's approval systems or non-reciprocal linking rules
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Engage in harassment, spam, or abusive behavior

5. Link Placement

All links must be approved before placement. Site owners retain full control over which links are placed on their properties. The Service will suggest anchor text and make minimal content modifications (up to one sentence), with clear documentation of all changes for your review and approval.

6. Credits and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. The launch Pro plan unlocks Google Search Console and AI semantic keyword features. By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method each month until you cancel your subscription.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. The following terms apply:

• Cancel anytime via the billing page or by emailing support@happylinks.io
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You retain access until the end of the paid period
• Coming-soon backlink credits, if introduced later, are governed by the terms shown at that time
• No prorated refunds are issued for partial months
• Service-level outages exceeding 30 minutes may entitle you to a credit (see our SLA)

8. Link Removal

We monitor links for quality and relevance. In the event of dead links, quality drops, or significant content drift, we provide a 72-hour grace period for corrections before removal. Links placed through the Service remain under the control and responsibility of the hosting site owner.

9. Cookies

Our use of cookies and similar storage technologies is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to our cookie practices as described there.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. HappyLinks.io does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will result in desired SEO outcomes. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
